The mission of the Johnstown Concert Series is to provide high quality chamber music performances of all styles to the Johnstown community.
Our concerts feature a welcoming, intimate atmosphere with several unique features:
Through our recently updated website, our patrons can now enjoy the convenience of purchasing tickets and making donations online.
In 2005, Dr. Albert K. Mall founded the series to provide members of the community with the opportunity to enjoy small groups of excellent musicians without having to travel to Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., or New York.
Now in our thirteenth season, we have brought musicians from all over the world to perform for an ever-growing audience. The series continues to evolve: offered under the auspices of The Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, we have collaborated with the Johnstown Symphony and the Pittsburgh Concert Society, and with the John P. Murtha Neuroscience and Pain Institute, for which we provide tickets for patients in chronic pain.
